Just a few quick thoughts.
I drove through downtown this weekend. It was around noon on a Saturday. Bull riding was in town. Yee Haw!! They were turning people away from parking lots, for a Rodeo. Major sporting events are going to draw major crowds. The upcoming big 12 tournament is going to turn Downtown in to one big hot snarled up mess. Joco tags were about 2 to 1 compared to Missouri tags, I wish this arena was in Overland Park. No offense to my JoCo reader, for once, but you guys use more of our shit than we do, please take it with you next time you leave. Fox 4 was reporting that the businesses were standing firm on the no jersey / sweats/ logo policy. How is that going to work during a college sporting event? Cant wait for St. Paddy's day, should be a real cluster fuck.
"Rolling Car Battle" is quick becoming the most over hyped crime du jour. Now that the latest reenactment of the untouchables has touched on the edge of sacred ground (waldo), I'm sure an amped up police presence will deter ( push east) any further hi jinks. In the meantime young kids a few blocks away stand a far better chance of catching a stray round playing in their own yard than any innocent bystanders walking their Vegan Retrievers in Waldo.
God forbid there should be a rolling gun battle around the Sprint Center. They would have to abandon their cars and chase each other on foot.

Sometimes not being able to drive sucks. But reading this I am glad I can't drive. I'd hate to be around traffic jams of which you speak of.
