Suburbia, where bad taste goes to live, and other glimpses from my car window.

I spotted this bovine bungalow in Independence a couple of days ago. I have to believe this guy is just trying to piss off his neighbors.

This recent escapee, (notice the bent bar on the fence ) was hanging out on the outskirts of Raytown.
These two were also spotted in Raytown. Something I never knew until recently about geese. They drop major St. Bernard type loads. I pity anyone who is over run by these Canadian invaders.

Something else I never knew about geese, they have some brutal fights. I broke this one up, the feathered fighter on the right was getting his ass handed to him in a big way. So like a complete idiot I went over and nudged them apart with my foot. The ingrate who was getting beat down, turned on me and I had to flee to the safety of my car. That's the last time I try to stop and help anyone.

One mans twisted up heap of bikes skewered to a light pole, is another mans art. This is across from Grinders downtown. And for those who think Grinders sounds like a strip joint, its a restaurant and bar in the crossroads. Best pizza in the state and tattooed waitresses, you cant go wrong with that combination. Not to mention you might run across an anarchist, a lawyer, a self employed gonzo pharmacist or once every couple of weeks, yours truly.

Although you are more likely to see me here, clogging my arteries and avoiding eye contact with one of the crazy people who always seem to get seated in a booth directly across from me.

Apparently the Loch Ness Monster is currently taking up residence in an east Kansas City Sub division/ golf course.

And this last picture was taken in front of a crypt in Mt. Washington cemetery. It was touching, but also a little unnerving for some reason. I think it was because the door on the crypt was slightly ajar. Well that's it for today. Everyone be safe, and have a good weekend.

  1. I added you to my blogroll a couple of months ago and have checked back a few times. You need to add me dude. I am submitting this post to StumbleUpon. Watch your stats increase if others like it. You have a great blog man. You obviously enjoy photo preserving your adventures. Good idea acting like a cop when in that neighborhood. It reminds me of Alabama! Minus the snow. ;)

  2. bikes belong to unfriendly(to me) lesbian-owned bike shop, whose owners like to create mutant bikes and sponsor rides around downtown
