That's right it's time once again for Fast Eddie Felson Friday! So here we go fast and loose.
I want to start out by giving props to Fox 4 news for leading the way in hard hitting news and investigative reporting. I turned the news on at 8 this morning. It is now 8:45, they have covered the weather 3 times, interviewed a kid who is going to a spelling bee, and spent the remaining 30 minutes talking about, interviewing and gushing like prepubescent girls over American Idol finalist and Blue Springs native David Cook. There has not been a single mention of any of the 6 homicides that have occurred in over the last 7 days in the city. That's 6 killings in 7 days, which is just a taste of what this summer holds in store.
This just in......Fox is doing some non David Cook coverage on a baby seal that was rescued and released after having some netting cut from it's neck. I'm all for the Baby seals, they are cute and remind me of puppies , except they can swim better. New motto, Save the Seals , club an American Idol contestant, it's a win win situation.
I saw a short sound byte on KCTV 5 news last night interviewing the sister of one of the two dirt bags convicted yesterday in the hate crime and murder of William McCay, an African American man. Testimony during the trail revealed that these two punks were bragging about killing the guy who had the audacity to be black and setting foot on their supposed turf. So the sister , a lovely woman with stringy yellow hair that looked like she combed it with a pork chop, tells the reporter that her brother isn't a racist and that the killing wasn't a hate crime. I feel better and I'm sure the family of the completely innocent and DEAD William McCay can rest easy knowing that the killing wasn't racially motivated, despite the findings by the jury. Which brings me to a few thoughts on a particular group of scumbags and pretenders in the North East area of Kansas City. The infamous and laughable 9th street Dogs, or Dawgs, not sure of the spelling.

The 9th street Doggies are a loosely knit gang of glue sniffing , meth shooting , discount beer drinking, petty criminals that have roamed the 9th street area dating back as far as I can recall. I have no idea if the two scum bags and soon to be in protective custody killers of McCay are associated with this group of rag tag wanna be's, but I'd bet my last 20 bucks they are.

Just so you don't think the world is all doom and gloom, here is a heart warming human interest story out of the great state that brought us our current President, Dubya. Three teenage boys have been arrested for desecrating the grave of a boy who died in the 1920's. These industrious young scamps claim to have used the skull of the deceased as a bong. The story is a little sketchy, but the head is apparently missing from the remains, so it rings true as bizarre as it sounds. What I found interesting is that two of the defendants were home schooled. This should be proof positive that public schools only serve to turn out unimaginitive non creative drones, where as home schooling is an awesome way for parents to oversee the development of their kids. Kudos to the parents of Kevin Wade Jones Jr. 17, Matthew Richard Gonzalez, and an unnamed juvenile suspect, for the stellar job of parenting and educating these three budding inventors and junior sociopaths ! The only critique I would have , the parents should have done a better job of explaining to these boys that you buy your drug paraphernalia at a head shop, not get it through a Head Chop. Sorry, couldn't help myself.
That's it kids, have a good weekend.
Head Shop/Head Chop...awesome! Thanks for your wittiness. I always enjoy reading your posts..Plus congrats on winning Meesha's contest.
ReplyDeleteI was all set to comment on your Al Sharpton post yesterday...
ReplyDelete(I personally think there might just be a new, young Federal prosecuter silly enough to actually go through with it...at the explicit behest of the current WH. Not that I'm paranoid or anything)
...when, POOF, it simply disappeared...
ghosts in the machine?
