When good deeds go bad.....Revised......

I removed the original post. After some consideration, I decided it made me look like a bigger dick than I really am. It is duly noted that getting in an internet pissing match is juvenile and unproductive. While these are both accurate descriptors of this author, I have decided to be a little less Scrooge like. Be advised that this is in no way a retraction of my previous statements, views or opinions, but rather destruction of evidence of same.

  1. I believe in volunteering year round. It's good for the soul. But if you can't do it year round then whenever you do is still good. And if you have cash that you can pass on to others that works too.

  2. Arguing with someone on the internet is like competing in the Special Olympics. You may win in the end, but you're still retarded.

  7. I'm all for helping people in need, but most charities (including those with whom I have volunteered) resent like hell that people only bother helping out in December, when they become guilt plagued because they know they're spending ridiculous amounts of money suckering into consumerist "keeping up with the JoCo Joneses and their demon spawn" nonsense and/or want to up their tax deductions before the end of the year. If people are really concerned about helping others, they would be giving all year long and would not take the tax deduction. And those who really care about charities would be promoting charitable giving during the other 11 months. Far as I'm concerned, spasms of xmas offerings and self-serving solicitations for them are less evidence of "good will toward humans" and more often proof of Rand's claim that there ain't no such thing as altruism.

  8. hah.. I think I figured it out.. lol

He likes bashing Liberals.. I think that says enough. I am surprised however that a liberal basher is so giving during the x-mas holiday or any holiday for that matter. That's just me though, and really, I'm just a fledgling.

    ; )
