If I'm not back in a few hours, send help!!!

I am about to journey in to the heart of darkness. Though I may not return, in spite of the great peril I face throwing myself in harms way, I am doing it all for you, the reader. I am heading in to the heart of downtown!!! Okay, most of what i just wrote is bullshit. I am heading downtown, to pay a ticket or face arrest. There is no way I would be going there otherwise, but since I'm going to be there, Ill try to snap some pictures and come back to complain , bitch, and moan about the debacle that surely waits for me in the midst of the Big 12 tournament.
Stay Tuned..................................

Update

I have returned. Traffic was about what you would expect in a smallish Downtown area that has inadequate parking, closed streets, and far more people converging on it than it was meant to hold. Add to the mix that this was a weekday and I think you get the picture. At 10 this morning the lots were all filled to or close to capacity.

I just don't understand the logic behind building the Sprint Center with no forethought on parking. People are parking at Kemper arena in the west bottoms and taking buses to the Sprint Center. That's like parking at McDonald's and taking the bus to Burger King. WTF?

  3. Used to hate not being able to drive. After reading this I am glad I don't have to put up with all that traffic nonsense.

  4. I like your blog, MM.

I'd like to note to your readers that I can't tell you how much better life seems since I stopped ready Tony's Kansas City. Just stopped. Bookmarked no more. I'm not even curious. It's like quitting smoking: the benefits are quickly noticeable. Surround yourself with negativism and that's how you'll feel. Send it away and the world is a brighter place.

    Try it!

  5. Thanks for the tip Sham, but you might try taking TKC with a grain of salt. He has been a big supporter of this blog among others. Lighten up and have a smoke.
