I will see your televangelist and I'll raise you one Yahweh Ben Yahweh

As I stated in a previous post about Televangelist Don (magic napkin) Stewart, I love me some religious wackos. I don't know how I'm just now hearing about the most reverend Yahweh Ben Yahweh, but thank a mild case of insomnia, and late night channel surfing, I am now able to share the word with you. Hulon Mitchell Jr , the oldest of 15 children, was born in Kingfisher Oklahoma. That would be Hulon, aka Yahweh, pictured above during his ascension to heaven and his rightful throne.

I came across this group of nut bags late last night on some public access channel. A woman who looked like the mother from the old Good Times show was alternating between speaking English and gibberish, and imploring me to take heed and prepare for the Apocalypse, which apparently is in full swing. Why is it I'm always the last to be told about this shit? Anyway, it must have been an old program because she was citing blizzards in Montana, Buffalo and Minnesota as proof of said Apocalypse. I wouldn't have given this group more than a passing glance, had I not found out just how crazy dangerous these chuckle heads are.

Yahweh served eleven years in Federal prison, and was released in 2001, he died in May of 2007, apparently prostate cancer didn't get the memo that our boy Huron was a God. so why was Yahweh in the joint? The Nation of Yahweh set up its headquarters in Liberty City, Florida. Yahweh Ben Yahweh emphasized that God and all the prophets of the Holy Bible were black and blacks would gain the knowledge of their true history through him. He also emphasized whites and particularly Jews as infidels and oppressors. Lastly he emphasized loyalty to himself as the son of God YHWH.
To become a member of the inner circle of his organization, applicants had to kill a "white devil" and bring Mitchell a body part - an ear, nose or finger - as proof of the kill. Between April and October 1986, according to court papers, Mitchell's "Death Angels" descended on Miami frequently to kill random white people. The Nation of Yahweh remodeled a series of buildings in Miami. These buildings allowed for the growth and development of the Yahweh's. He became the living Messiah of the Nation of Yahweh. At the time his business and charity efforts earned him respect in the community. The mayor of Miami, Florida declared October 7, 1990, "Yahweh Ben Yahweh Day." This occurred a month before his indictment for alleged crimes.
